Subject: Type I vs type II diabetes

This guy is a type I diabetic himself and is a researcher presenting some very interesting things pertinent to diabetics. Stuff still being learned about the disease that may be different from conventional wisdom.

Injected insulin causes insulin resistance. Who would have thought? When the pancreas puts out insulin 2/3 goes to the liver and 1/3 goes to the peripheral tissues. When we inject insulin (I used to 7 years ago) it all has to initially go to the periphery.

Well worth watching for any diabetic or anyone who does not want to become diabetic.
