Northeast IN | I was bidding an online auction, set a max bid. Auction went live and I was watching it to keep bidding if need be. Online it showed my max bid as leading bid so I didn’t up it anymore. Paddle dropped and it sold onsite for my max bid price. Is that common? Shouldn’t they have had to bid an increment over mine to be winning bid? Wasn’t like it was a steal of a deal either. Small attachment, $3k new. Had auction price at $2600. Just saved me having to pay shipping on ordering new and was available right now.
