SW WI | No the acuron will not work if there is bindweed roots and you will not have time before the canopy closes, my experience this year. Acuron might work on the seed.
I burned down the field in spring. I did not kill the roots off I am guessing and spread the bindweed while working thr ground.
From what I read fall or late summer best to spray bindweed takes the chemicals to the roots, like knotweed.
Growing RR corn should be able to spray RU . Keep it under control. If it is like knotweed might not kill the roots off.
We are picking the field now and in a week be done. Ill go back in with back pack sprayer and spray RU and 24d with a sticker.
Also down the road the corn is a non gmo hybrid very popular here sells very fast.
late Sept go back replant it into rye
Someone else have better way to get rid bindweed?
