good news, went to staples. the guy fiddled with it a while. everything but black ink worked good. he tried to clean the print head but it wouldnt let him, so did a nozzel check. then it let him clean the head. tried to print black and it was perfect. asked how much i owed him he said they dont charge. gave him $20 anyway and im a happy camper.
