SE Wisconsin | I want to install a new waterer in a pen. Do you recommend just burying the waterline in the ground or run it inside another protected tube like a piece of plastic drain tile? Last few we have had done for us, just were dropped 6' deep and called good. Our contractor put sand around the water line not with a purpose other than you can tell when digging if you are close to the line.
