NW Iowa | Any holding pen or area you feed in needs cement period.
You will forever be hauling dirt out with manure and hauling it back in
to fill the holes,
Be frustrated every time it rains,
Working cattle or feeding in slop just adds to misery.
Edit- If you plan on putting it under those trees
it will prob never dry out...
Put a 2x6 down around the perimeter
and fill it in with concrete, no rebar.
