nc ks | There are 4 of us here on the farm and we haven't been together working in the fields at all lately, but we have all experienced a massive amount of bites. None of us have laid in any grass, but all have walked through some brome at different times. I also have walked in a little bit of alfalfa. The bites are all in areas covered with clothing. Seems to start down at the ankles and move up. The boys' bites all stop at the knee to waist mostly but I have literally hundreds on my trunk and even on my arms under the short shirt sleeves. Is this simply chiggers or is there some other mite or something that may be biting us? My wife who sleeps in the same bed as me doesn't have a single bite. She is in the outdoors a lot but not in un-mowed grass areas. The bites seem to form a little blister in the center as they age.
