If you want to make money doing cow calf confinement invest in cows not a shed. They can be confined to a field not a barn, just calve with the seasons, don’t fight Mother Nature.
Cornstalks over winter, rye in the spring, overstocked pasture in the summer. Take something out of a corn rotation. Plant rye in the fall and sorghum Sudan grass in June, now you have someplace for the cows to live. | |
