I have have Vermeer balers since the I series (early-mid 90's) and I don't remember an auto-weave feature. The equal fill/auto-tie and accu-bale monitors could be setup to 'tell' you when to steer with an indication and a beep.

It is really all about how you make the windrows and having good gathering wheels.
