| I feed almost 50% of my ration in earlage. I think currently based on last years test around 38% moisture.
I think talking heads use to say that by harvesting it right at black layer you would end up with a 45%moisture product. That has never worked out for me. I like it wetter than drier when it works out. 40-45. If I had a processor I think drier would be ok but I don’t.
I’m feeding 20# of earlage 20# of wet ddg, 5 # of silage for a little more roughage and a half pound of mineral. | |
