The study she presents says 170 calorie difference. I am thinking Bikman quotes research of about 300 calories difference a day metabolism difference between low carb and high carb (his study concerned category of food rather than amount of processing that she quotes). The point is there is a difference in the foods we eat rather than just calorie count.
