I have been struggling to answer the same and also thinking it would crash anytime. But actually relaxing my guard and looking a the picture with open eyes. So much has changed yet still the same.  Manage money is moving everything and it moved into livestock markets several years ago now. That in itself is huge influence we as producers cannot begin to compute.  It was mentioned the other day that feeders could follow orange juice record which would top them out at the 5$ mark. (Really,  I try not to drink that much.)  When I think of the future market.  I remember the discussions that it was broken and did not represent reality.  Well with that in mind,  5$ might actually be possible in the opposite direction of previous discussions.  (Wow).  Two years ago I called for 2$ Kill Cows and so far top true kill cow I seen was 1.84 will see with lots around 1.72 mark.  I say my dream of 2$ will not happen.
