Subject: Pork chops

What do yall think of these? I like chops bone in and 1.5 inch thick.

Hadn't raised hogs since I was a kid, but the kids wanted to. These come off a show pig reject that showed up from the ag teacher. Pulled the old grinder mixer out of the barn, mixed up corn, premix, and alfalfa. I believe live weight was around 300 on the barrow. It's pen mate, a gilt, didn't grow as big, it was around 225 live.

Got 3 Mangalitsa gilts and a boar, I guess we will try our luck raising hogs. Might be an expensive hobby, but I like to eat and the pictures of the meat off that breed look awesome.
