Subject: Sale barn heavies question

North central TX
I found myself short on beeves on the hoof via strong demand for my product and an extremely bad luck year (death loss).
Ended up buying 3 calves either side of 1200#
Should I pull the group of homegrown steers back on feed the next few days to work the other 3 up to full rations on my feed? Or will they be ok? When I unloaded them in the lot, they made an easy lap around the fence and came right to the bunk where there was about half a 5 gal bucket left and cleaned it up, so thats a good sign.
Was thinking, I'll just give the whole bunch the same feed i was giving the others and work them up to full feed over the next week.
What's the verdict?
