southern MN | Had a very similar to the International growing up - plug in but ours was grey so a cross between your 2. Cattle, cats, dog, and kids were very respectful of it after a short initiation!
Lasted several decades I think lightening finally got it. It might have said ‘weed eater’ on ours, it was supposed to burn through weeds that grew to the wire.
