Some of the mega dairies up by Amarillo TX area I was told have up to 30,000 bottle calves in hutches at a time. Look it up on google earth sometime up by Cactus TX, the rows of calf hutches look like solar panels until you look closer. The area the hutches occupy alone is probably almost 120 acres
