I have posted a bunch of stuff about fructose in the past. Probably ad nauseam. I ran across this very short clip that basically explains it in a nutshell. Maybe a couple minutes long.

So does this mean I am against fruit? No. He doesn't go into the details of how the liver can accommodate small amounts of fructose without too much problem. It is the excessive consumption where the problems arise. Consuming concentrated forms in too great quantity. I just had a couple strawberries and a dozen blueberries in my Greek plain yogurt this morning. I don't worry about that small amount.

I try to follow your no-sugar diet as best as i can . I know for sure i do feel much better . I like double stuff oreos alot I dont buy them .So not tempted to eat them .

One odd thing i did notice is without sugar my tolerance to the heat is much better .I guess my 3 big cups of black coffee at 6 am are not the very best . Go to drink beside water is unsweet tea . most times just water .

I have to not buy reeces peanut butter cups or oreos , Ill eat them if i bring them home .

I eat peanut butter for when i need something sweet .
