Cyclone88 - 8/11/2025 09:59 So just sitting here thinking, demand for beef is holding in there at high prices, We need imports as much as anything right now, especially with the border being closed and not being able to import live animals. So, how high do we want this thing to run? How badly do we want to damage our consumer base and turn them to a different protein? And I dont want to hear that beef sells itself or people arent going to switch because it will happen, do we really find out what that price point is? .

If people switch to pork or poultry because beef is too expensive once prices retreat they will return.  Beef is the premium meat no one will say let’s have a yummy turkey burger.
