sc ia | I was using a feeder calf in my example but doing it with a cow is an improvement.
Just a couple of days ago I was looking through my grandpa's diaries and he went to
a sale in 1928 where cows were bringing $75. I'm pretty sure an acre of pasture was less than that in south central Iowa in 1928. I know he bought 80 acres of pasture for $30 an acre but not sure what year.
