So just sitting here thinking, demand for beef is holding in there at high prices, yet Im still seeing people complain about MCOOL and other policies. We need imports as much as anything right now, especially with the border being closed and not being able to import live animals.

So, how high do we want this thing to run? How badly do we want to damage our consumer base and turn them to a different protein? And I dont want to hear that beef sells itself or people arent going to switch because it will happen, do we really find out what that price point is? Are the extra dollars we get now worth losing out on a year or two on the backside that we could keep these prices?

I dont think these prices are sustainable but sure am goin to enjoy them while they are here.

2 different deals in my opinion.
Mcool is about TRUTHFUL product TRANSPARENCY to a consumer.
Tariffs on Brazilian beef could be off tomorrow if Brazil & this country make amends.

How long do you want this “ride” to last…. As long as it can & has to run in order to stabilize the ranch country where cow-calves supply the initial ingredient to system
