We've had one for several years on the sprayer nurse tank. This Spring, it would not shut off. Diagnosis eventually found part P08 was missing. It's kind of trapped where it goes, no idea how it came out, other than maybe off-season disintegration. It's a puzzler.
This site has individual parts to repair. It says new style, so maybe there was an issue. Maybe Hudson would send you one since yours is new. It is relatively easy to repair, as long as your workbench is clean. Small parts.
Since then has stopped water perfectly dozens of times.
