I watched an online funeral service of a gentleman I'd had some business dealings with over the years, and I'd thought he was a pretty good guy, personally. Several of his business colleagues got up by turn and spoke about past experiences and relationships they'd had with the deceased, much as would be expected. Then at the end of all those, another colleague got up to speak and recognized the guys who'd already spoken and the sentiments they'd expressed.......and then he said something to the effect of ' that's all well and good and Steve was all those things. But let's be honest...Steve was a son of a b...., plain and simple'.  I'm sure the widow was fully aware of what was coming, but it sure caught me off guard, and most likely the majority of people in person and online. It was memorable, at least.
