South central illinois | Getting ready to sow fall clover and was wondering suggestions on use of a three point Rural King seeder. Has anybody sowed straight clover with one of these seeders. It seems to me the door is wider open for clover and seems to be putting on thicker than I want it. Suggestions on speed,pattern width, and seed door opening would be appreciated. Sowing with 35 Massey gas tractor. Local dealer has access to pull type seeder but I am seeding into worked wheat stubble and didn’t know if it would drag trash. | |
