Central ND | Coke and Pepsi share holders have to be cashing in big time. (right??)

WHEN 60 pounds(one bushel or hard red spring wheat ) wont buy 2 bottles of colored flavored water from Pepsi in a store, things are really out of balance(I believe those two 24 oz bottles together are 48 ounces of pop, and it costs 6$ and more in some places, for those 2 pop bottles).
So 3 pounds of water and sugar cost more than 60 pounds of what whole grain is worth.
Yes, I'm guilty of a dies soda habit but have defiantly limited due to health concerns in the back of my mind, and cost concerns as well. I'm old enough to remember glass bottles in a machine for 15 cents and cans in a machine were 25 cents when I graduated high school, in 1980.
