Go to the county. Then the state. Don't go sideways, go up the chain.

If that doesn't work, mention it to a few media outlets, papers, TV, or whatever.

Government officials absolutely hate having their superiors and the world know what they are doing.

The downside is you become "that guy". But, when push comes to shove...shoving works.


Don't know where you live, I'd be highly surprised if a dusty road got any media coverage. LOL

And who are the "superiors" over the township? Only the voters. The county or state doesn't tell the townships how to maintain their roads, nor do they have the authority to do so.

Oh, the comment about shoving works? Remember that when your road is the last one to get cleared of snow........


Our road hasn't got cleared from snow since the township de-organized in the 1960s.

In my state, state law states if the township is not organized or is negligent in their duties, the county is responsible for the road.

Guess who's unorganized township got road maintenance after I spent a year bypassing the local people? That includes snow clearing.
