Subject: RE: Township road work.

The cities of Clinton and Camanche have annexed a lot of the township. There about 6-8 miles of gravel roads and a State highway. All road work is under the county engineer and maybe he answers to the supervisors. Even the larger townships would be difficult to manage individually. There are 20 townships and I am guessing that there are around 5 or maybe ten at the most road graders and our roads are good unless we have a bad winter and even then there are few problems if everyone uses common sense.

I was under the impression that non of Iowa had township roads, am I wrong
