The dealership owns and services the base station for multiple farmers in this area. I just own multiple SF 3000 receivers with radio RTK as SF3 or whatever the cellular version of RTK never really worked well in our area. From what I understand, our SF3000 receivers will still work on RTK as long as our dealer keeps the network up and running and we don't have any issues with the SF3000 as JD will no longer support them. I also won't be able to transfer my RTK activations from my SF3000 to a new SF7500 after November 21, 2026.
The RTK will work indefinitely as long as the GPS signal comes in and the base is good. I've heard their are still some old iTC and 300s out there still rollin' on RTK, but if that signal drops, they have no SF1, SF2 fallback or anything like that. |
