Subject: Eating our own

West Chazy, New York
Been seeing an ad for beef from a ranch that features a folksy narrator with pictures of cowboys and happy cows grazing by a river, but then it pivots to pictures of cattle in a feedlot and talking about how most cattle are fed antibiotics. I hate to see one operation tearing another down in public. I'm pretty sure that if I spent a little time on their operation I could get some pictures that weren't real flattering, like a cow that rolled into a ditch on her back or a bull that got torn up in a fight, or any of the other ways to die that cattle seem born to invent. It just seems short sighted to me to run down the whole cattle industry.
