Southern rust is blowing up here in ECIL

Has all the thriftiness and durability been bred out of corn and soybeans with the focus on bushels that we can't get a crop correctly pollinated and able to thrive with their natural defense mechanisms any more that we are adding fungicide at post spray and twice during reproduction and still fighting issues in a sanitized environment or are we so good at it that these issues are finally surfacing since we have perfected the rest of the growing process, or is climate change shifted enough outside of the optimal growing environment we have lost plant adaptation? Easymoney was making some really good points ages days ago that weren't well received. Seems our agronomists are bandaid junkies wanting the quick and easy (very profitable) solutions like the ozempic addicts rather than putting in the work to fix the underlying problems.
