Subject: RE: Southern rust

West Central Iowa
We sprayed with a drone about 1 week ago. We used Veltyma on about 1/3 of our acres and Miravis Neo on the other 2/3 of our acres. I don’t think the Veltyma is working as well on Southern Rust as the Miravis Neo is. Our Southern was below the ear leaf when it was sprayed that I saw. So the upper leaves may already have been infected. I thinking we are going to see a great corn crop drop 40-50 bu. Now is about the time Tar starts moving in. I just remember the last time I’ve seen Southern like this our corn died and dried really fast but that was before we used fungicides. Good Luck
