SC NE | I sold half a steer to a neighbor for $3.80/lb hanging. Another coworker of mine picked up some burger from me the other day. I told him how this would be different from the last he got from me which was from younger calves, real lean. Later that night I got to thinking, how many people can go to the store and find out how old their steak or burger is, what it was fed, what it's name was, etc... I tell people they don't want to see the animals they get the $3/lb burger from. People are willing to pay good money for good beef. | |
