Washington State doesn't have an income tax.
Conservatives love sales taxes, because "everybody pays.' They tend to like property taxes, for the same reason. The more you own the more you pay, etc, etc. Historically that's how States paid for schools and roads and things.
So, once again, when was your tax system set up, and who did it?
Sure it does, despite it being unconstitutional to have an income tax. Democrats just called it something else and made it happen anyway. They can get away with that when they’ve had 30+ years to stack the courts. Democrats made our taxes what they are now.
Are you in favor of constitutional violation at the whim of the controlling party?
