corky - 8/7/2025 12:27 So you eat less beef and more pork because of price it would be really interesting to know how many more dollars you would spend if you would eat beef like you want to not considering price I imagine it’s probably not an outstanding large amount and the big game you leave a few dollars more for the children in their inheritance me I’m gonna eat beef. There’s plenty here. There’s plenty for the kids when I die the rest of them can eat their chicken, turkey, tofu and fish and pork if they like.

The cost difference beef vs pork/chicken isn’t much for a single guy or even a couple but if you’re feeding a family of 5 or 6 it starts to get significant.

You can buy pork loin nearly every day of the year for $2/lb.  80/20 ground beef on sale is $4/lb.   The steak I’d like to eat at every meal is $20/lb
