West Lafayette IN | The Pro Farmer Crop Tour is a little over a week away. I’m sure we’re going to have the same group of folks complaining about trespassing, taking yield information without permission, selling the stolen information, blah blah blah.
We’re going to hear things like “I feel like Chip is looking up my skirt”. “Why would companies want to sponsor the illegal Trespass, Pillage and Plunder Tour?” “It’s like Watergate for farmers”.
Chip, I’m sure you will read this. Please explain the tour so we don’t have to hear this nonsense.
- How do you justify your tour?
- Are your sponsors aware that you enter their customers fields without permission?
- Have you ever had any legal issues from the criminal activity from your tour?
- Is it common in other industries to collect inventory and sell the information without permission?
- why not take grain inventory at the local elevators on your tour?
-do you just use the USDA number and tweak it a little? | |
