Southwestern PA
How do you separate the nurse crop from the peas? If I plant them in with rye they like to climb up the rye, but I don’t think that would be easy to harvest. When do you harvest them? I just got 10 bags of them to give it a try. I have an esch drill that is on 5.5” row spacing and it seems to plant them well. I’ll have to look through herbicide labels to find a pre I can put down to try to start them off cleaner. The winter annual weeds are going to be the problem I’d imagine.
