| That’s really a loaded question for a yes or no answer . Looks versus reality . I have done personal crop survey between august 8th and august 12th for forty plus years still have all the notes . Looking back there have been a lot times I stated in notes that the crop looked “best ever ‘ blow your socks off and something happens to take the shine off or it never quite meets expectations . But this year it sure seems/sounds like there is a lot of good corn that doesn’t have to be best ever to turn national average into a new record . What if your poorest yield is better than expected but best yield worse than expected but still end up with highest average yields ever ? Back to your yes or no , sorry I have to say I don’t know / maybe . Finishing a crop is critically important and sometimes very hard to accomplish . | |
