I have entered and exited the cow/calf operation a couple times, in my area it is just tough to get pasture whether is buying or renting. Fences are shot and everyone seems to pander to the sacred deer. Then where do you draw the line? 10 that you AI? 25 that justifies a bull? 75 that justifies well used hay equipment? or 200 plus for a full time gig.
I have a love hate relationship with cattle, lol….
