Subject: East Central Ne to Yankton to Sioux city crops look perfect

East Central Nebraska
I live North of Lincoln Ne about 30 miles. Pulled the camper to Yankton over the weekend and then drove to the daughter and son-in-law's in Sioux City on Sat for their baby shower and back to Yankton and home yesterday. Basically Hwy 15 to Clarkson, and whatever road to Stanton, and then up 81 at Norfolk on way up and similar route home but a few different roads. Went from Yankton to Vermillion to Sioux City Saturday and then basically Hwy 20 back to 81 back to Yankton. Corn looked perfect from the road the whole way. Only place looked rough was some drowned out areas between north bend and schuyler on the platte river bottoms. Thinking my crop will be the best ever. We'll see in a couple months. It's starting to dent and think I will be at least 50 over my APH. And oh how it rained in and around Gavins Point Late Saturday night/Sunday morning and again Monday morning. Normally this would be a blessing, but thinking some areas probably getting to be excessive. Creeks were running high. And by the way, anybody got a good secret on how to catch fish out of Gavins Point. I suck at fishing and in 10 years of multiple trips a year, I catch a few cats, but never a walleye LOL. Thanks Greg
