Hooker Twp,Ne | What do you call a few cows? 6-12-25-50-100. You need enough to warrant cost of bull. Then you need pasture large enough to handle bull and cows. Then how about hay in winter? Buying or do you have the equipment and land to put up your own hay? Then 7 pm rolls around and wife and you headed out for nice supper and neighbor calls-Cows are out or it might be the sheriff. You get there and one little baby calf slipped under the fence somewhere. But they made it sound like the whole herd was out. Now wifey pissed cause the evening was spoiled. You fight for a few years- maybe 10 and market went to heck and you say that’s enough of this BS. | |
