Yes there are to many row crop acres until there is not.

I have a suggestion to take out row crop row crops. Put them into solar panels. Not windmills but solar. That will take out crop land for 20-25 years. At those prices for solar panels the rent would be a good retirement income. Then if corn get a high enough prices then you can get a 4 or 6 row planter and plant the middles with corn and/or soybeans. The solar will not put land into crp. That would change the BTO definition.

By the fringe acres are not fringe. Fringe to what you call fringe is the land to the west of what you call fringe.

All land takes work and not 4x4.
