Clifton Kansas | Yes, an app rate module with a lift switch is the best way to have an accurate coverage map. But this way is less expensive and quicker to do.
I don't use the switch box for anything in those configurations it's just along for the ride.
Yes, I believe the configurations are made under the tillage mode.
While doing some of these operations I also name regions of different items, like when using a rented dry spreader, I can name regions with different fertilizer rates or types applied. I also use the mark a spot, like when filling pivot tracks if there is a hole that needs extra dirt. This way I know where to go back with a scraper and drag more dirt to those areas. Just like in any time you are mapping.
I use the SC110 on the fertilizer bar to control 6 sections and use it on the planter for section control, both have other modules that need to go along with the SC110 to make it work. Like you do.
They are mounted separately from the monitor, so they stay with the tractors all the time and this makes it easier to move the monitor from tractor to tractor. The configurations don't mend if they are not used.
I have used the method you suggested that while the steering is engaged it turns on the coverage map but that didn't provide me with enough coverage information. | |
