What is the real endgame? How long has Southern rust been around? How many years have we used fungicide on it? If fungicides worked, shouldn't we have cured rust? Not only have we not cured rust, other diseases have come along, how?

How long until we see resistance? At what point do we question what we are doing, when 3 passes are normal every year? What about 5 passes? What is broken in our system that we don't have healthy plants, why is there immune system suppressed?

Is it possible there's other issues going on And the rust is more of a symptom than the direct problem? So are we just going to keep treating symptoms, or some day do we look for a bigger issue?

As an agronomist are you getting SAP test from infected vs not infected fields. Looking at nutrient management programs, As well as PFLA numbers, compaction, CO2 burst...of the soil To see if there is a commonality?
