West central WI | This is what I’m seeing as a Green Lightning user and dealer for the company.
At this time, GL does not seem to perform well as a stand alone N source, I can verify that because I’ve got my own machines and my own acres that look disappointing.
Customers of mine that have applied some N upfront pre plant (less than 50 units) are having success …. See how it finishes. I was at the PTI farm last week, GL plot looked just as good as anything there but they had some litter down ahead of it. I also believe that’s why his plot did so well in 2023 where it beat his conventional plot. PTI’s got some plots using it on Soybeans and I’m using it on my beans acres as well, see if it does anything. Just reporting, don’t flame me too much…
