What are you all using the drones for, just fungicides or have you replaced your ground rig entirely with one or more drones?

Is it still a case where its basically all a single person can do to keep one drone moving, yet alone multiple?

Those are my two biggest roadblocks. Seeing a youtube thumbnail about "400 acres in one day!" doesn't do much to excite me when the ground rig can do that in a 2-3 hours...

But I do spend a lot on the airplane and wait times with them seem to be getting worse every year, so the interest is there.

You’re doing 400 acres in 3 hours so 150 acres an hour with a ground rig buy a hagi

We have a one T40 300 acres in a day is achievable with moving and everything else

I’ve ran a Hagi STS 10 —1000 gallon machine 120’ boom 6 MPH 20 GPA

Damn long day to 300 acres with the Hagi

Dan

I maybe exaggerated a bit with that 2-3 hours but typically do fungicides/bugs and any herbicides if its allowed at 10 GPA. About 45 minutes to empty a 1200 gal tank, 15 to refill, so 120 ac/hour basically and all with one man.

Generally speaking I can do two circles/300 acres before the days heat (10am) if I start at dawn.

Next purchase will have a 1600 gal tank and if I'm lucky 135 ft booms. But I'd love to make room for a drone for spot spraying and maybe spreading alfalfa seed. Both would have been very useful this season.
