We spin on about 50 pounds to 60 pounds of cereal rye right after we’re combining. Do it with a fertilizer spreader. If it rains within a few days of when we spread it we’re done if it don’t rain I have a John Deere 2660 that we run over it. if the co-op is not charging you very much let them do it but if they’re up on that eight $10 an acre range you can make an awful good days pay with a fertilizer buggy behind a tractor….
