If regular ins covered it the premium cost would more then likely be always out of reach for most. And the ones that could afford won’t have to and self insure. Look what home and building ins has done in last few years. And you think crop ins is confussing now. The programs between different ins company would give a guy a boozing headache. Govs. not going to stop being involved as the banking industry won’t let it.
