North Central IN | I’ve owned 3 of the over the years…probably broken every part on them at one time or another.
Everyone has the right idea. Some had a snap ring. Some not. Wish you were closer, or I was coming to FL, I have plenty of parts. I remember my second one after it shucked out like that I replaced the whole auger system, paid more for parts than the mixer, but I never had trouble with it again.
Never, and I mean NEVER shut the auger off full. Always slide the door shut. I’d rather shovel feed off the ground than fix an unload mess like that. I never open the door very far either.
My vote would be to try to find another one, then you too would have spare parts…
