I agree with you and your pics. I've been screaming record yield from Iowa for the last 2 months. That's now off the table. To much rain, to high temps at night, pollination issues, southern rust and tar spot, drowned out yellow spots all over. Just way to many issues. Will we still be good, yes but I in no way can see a record yield happening anymore.
