with rye have the seed put on with some fertlizer is what we have been doing for some time. We use a londoll vt to work it in. I think the the main thing is to look for when it is going to rain. If u have some decent rain coming on flying the rye on will work nice. Working it in works for us. But we always keep a eye on a big rain event and try to fly some on before
