I'm not certain but Kevin may have done what I did. That is completely remove the Deere system and replace it with an Ag Leader system. This would include Ag Leader's mass flow sensor, moisture sensor assembly and various modules. The display in the combine would be an Ag Leader.

From reading your post on AgTalk Machinery, I get the impression that you would like to change or update the moisture sensor only but continue to use a Deere display etc. to make it compatible with your other combine. That would be different than what I have done.

That may be possible but I have no experience with that combination.

I purchased a used Deere 9770. The combine had been equipped with a complete Deere Yield Monitoring system including Deere's funky moisture sensor, mass flow sensor wiring, Deere display and Deere GPS. The original owner kept the Deere display (2600?) and the Deere GPS.

When I received the combine, it still had the Deere mass flow sensor and moisture sensor. I had experience with and very much wanted an Ag Leader system in the combine. I wanted to reuse the Ag Leader system that I had removed from my Deere 9650 STS combine.

I removed the Deere mass flow sensor and moisture sensor. I replaced them both with the Ag Leader equivalents. The Ag Leader moisture sensor assembly goes on the outside of the clean grain elevator. I modified the Deere pipe bracket in the cab to use a RAM mount for an Ag Leader display and ran the various cables to the combine. I needed to go into the combine's diagnostic page and "turn off" the Deere moisture sensor so that the system did not complain.

All in all this works very well but I don't think this is what you have in mind.
